The college football season is here. Every week, different news and notes will pop up, which will affect what happens on the field and off it. Here are the college football week 5 news and notes.

J.T. Daniels is Cleared to Play

After not playing in their season-opener, USC transfer J.T. Daniels has been cleared to play. He tore his ACL last year with the Trojans. There is no word on whether he will start for Georgia vs. Auburn.

UNC to Play Western Carolina in Non-Conference Game

North Carolina had their lone non-conference game cancelled against Charlotte. They have since scheduled a game against Western Carolina on December 11.

Houston and Memphis to Play on December 5

Houston and Memphis were scheduled to play on September 19, but the game had to be postponed due to COVID cases on Memphis. The Game will now be played on December 5.

This will be updated until Saturday kicks off!
