Jalen Milroe was benched against USF. After one week on the bench, Nick Saban referenced his leadership as why he is now set to start against Ole Miss.
Michigan State Gives Mel Tucker Notice of Intention of Firing
Michigan State has formally given notice to Mel Tucker of their intention to fire him for cause. This stems from a sexual harassment case. According to Brett McMurphy, the decision was made earlier.
LSU’s Greg Brooks has Brain Tumor Removed
LSU safety Greg Brooks had emergency surgery to remove a brain tumor last week. The tumor was removed and now the family is waiting on the biopsy.

- FAU quarterback Casey Thompson is out for the season with a torn ACL.

- Army has agreed to a contract extension with Jeff Monken through the 2027 season.
- Notre Dame will return linebacker JD Bertrand, safety DJ Brown and tight end Mitchell Evans from injuries this week against Ohio State.
- Bowling Green linebacker Demetrius Hardamon is in stable condition after being carted off against Michigan in week 3.
- SEC suspends several players for the Tennessee-Florida fight during week 3.
- Iowa tight end Luke Lachey is out for the season after right ankle surgery.
- Dartmouth head coach Buddy Teevens has passed away after complications from a March bicycle crash.
