
The college football season is here. Every week, different news and notes will pop up, which will affect what happens on the field and off it. Here are the college football week 2 news and notes.
Ohio State defeated Indiana in week 1 with Kyle McCord taking most of the snaps. Devin Brown played a limited amount. Head coach Ryan Day said both would play against Youngstown State in week 2. McCord passed for 239 yards and one interception in week one.
Ohio quarterback Kurtis Rourke was cleared to play following a torn ACL last season. In week 0 he had to leave the game with an injury. Ohio coach Tim Albin said he doesn’t think Rourke will be limited in any way.
North Carolina wide receiver Tez Walker has been ruled ineligible for the 2023 season by the NCAA. Walker was trying to get a waiver to play immediately after transferring from Kent State.
