3 Virginia Football Players Die in A Shooting; Virginia Cancels Game Against Coastal Carolina

Three Virginia football players have passed away following a shooting. Devin Chandler, Lavel Davis Jr. and D’Sean Perry were the victims. The shooting happened on a bus full of students returning from a field trip. An ex-Virginia football player is in custody for the shooting. Virginia has canceled their last home game this weekend against Coastal Carolina.

Charlotte Hires Biff Poggi as Head Coach

Earlier this season, Charlotte fired Will Healy. The university has hired Biff Poggi as their head coach. He is currently an assistant head coach. Poggi has never had a D-I head coaching job.
