
The college football season is here. Every week, different news and notes will pop up, which will affect what happens on the field and off it. Here are the college football week 12 news and notes.
Although he only coached Washington for 14 games, the university has decided to fire head coach Jimmy Lake. He posted a 7-7 record after taking over for Chris Petersen.
On Tuesday Virginia Tech announced that they would part ways with head coach Justin Fuente. Fuente posted a 43-31 record at the school in six years on the job. While he started off with a 10 and then nine-wn season, he has failed to reach those heights since.
Butch Davis has announced he will be leaving FIU at the end of the season. The head coach posted a 24-30 record in five years at the school. Davis made comments about the school sabotoging the program because they listed an opening for a head coach online during the season.
Texas star running back Bijan Robinson is out for the season with a dislocated elbow. He rushed for 1,127 yards and 11 touchdowns this season.
