College football is now in season. With the more weeks that go on, more news and notes will be put together. Here are some of the things happening around the sport of college football heading into week 12.
Arkansas Fires Chad Morris

Arkansas has fired head coach Chad Morris in the middle of his second season with the team. He posted a 4-18 record with the team and had 0 SEC wins.
Pac-12 Suspends Referee
The Pac-12 has suspended a referee for an egregious officiating error that occurred during the Washington State vs. Cal game.

The Pac-12 has suspended a referee after he made an error in the Washington State-Cal game. His crew assessed 15-yard illegal hands to the face penalty to Washington State, when it should’ve been on Cal. The ball was placed on Washington State’s 35-yard line instead of Cal’s.
Notre Dame Loses two Key Defenders
Kelly said DE Julian Okwara is out for the year with an fibula fracture. LB Jack Lamb is also out for the year with a torn muscle in the hip area.

Notre Dame lost Julian Okwara with a fibula fracture for the rest of the season. Linebacker Jack Lamb has stepped in well for the Fighting Irish this season, but is out for the year with a torn muscle near his hip.

- ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit says that Chase Young will likely get his suspension reduced to 2-3 games by the NCAA.
