LSU has fired head coach Brian Kelly. He had three losses this season and a 34-14 record overall in his fourth season. Frank Wilson will take over as interim coach.
Texas quarterback is in concussion protocol and may not play this weekend against Vanderbilt.
Texas Tech quarterback Behren Morton is set to return this week against Kansas State. Backup quarterback Will Hammond is done for the year with a torn ACL.
