
The college football season is here. Every week, different news and notes will pop up, which will affect what happens on the field and off it. Here are the college football conference championship week news and notes.
Texas A&M has hired former Duke head coach Mike Elko for their vacancy. He posted a 16-9 record at Duke over two seasons. He formerly was a defensive coordinator at Texas A&M.
Mississippi State has hired Jeff Lebby to be their new head coach. He formerly was the offensive coordinator at Oklahoma. Lebby also has experience in the state as the offensive coordinator at Ole Miss.
The University of Delaware plans to join the FBS. They will pay a $5 million application fee and they plan to join C-USA.
