The potentially leaked mode of Mascot Mashup for College Football comes from @ItsOutEa on Twitter. Apparently, a memo showed the new mode and many thought it was coming out today (9/11/2026).

It looks like even though it is not in the game yet, there is a good chance that this will be added here soon. It may be why they have been adding so many new mascots to the game.

What is this New Mode?

The Mascot Mashup mode is one that will see you playing as the mascots in a College Football 26 mode. It has been seen in past versions of the game and was a goofy one that was beloved by the fans.

Considering the focus was on the main game, it is not a surprise that this one did not make it into College Football 25. That being said, there have been fans who have been hoping that they would bring this one back. They wanted to see Brutus taking on Biff or the Crimson Tide and the Bulldogs. There are so many classic matchups and being able to see the mascots go at it certainly is fun.

The one good part about this as well is that once it is in the game, it will likely stay in future iterations as well.
