After initially postponing the season until the spring, the Big Ten presidents have voted to return to play in the fall the conference announced on Wednesday.
Big Ten will start Friday Oct. 23, playing 8 games in 8 weeks, culminating w/Dec. 19 title game, sources told @Stadium.

Games will start for teams on Friday, October 23 with some teams starting their season on Saturday, October 24. The schedule will feature eight games in eight weeks and the Big Ten Championship Game will be on December 19.
This schedule will allow Big Ten teams to qualify for the College Football Playoff. The CFP Selection Committee will meet on December 20 to determine the four teams that make it to bracket play.
