The 2026 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl features the 13-1 Oregon Ducks and the 14-0 Indiana Hoosiers. Here is the 2026 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Preview.
The Ducks won 11 games to make their second straight CFP. They defeated six bowl-eligible teams this regular season: Northwestern, Penn State, Iowa, Minnesota, USC and Washington. Their only loss of the season was to Indiana, who earned the no. 1 seed in the CFP. They had no issues getting past James Madison in the first round of the CFP, then defeated Texas Tech to make the Peach Bowl.
Oregon scores 38.0 points per game, ranking ninth in the country. They pass for 251.4 yards (ranked 42nd) and rush for 206.1 yards (ranked 16th) per game.
Dante Moore sat out a season after transferring from UCLA and has developed well as a result. He has passed for 3,280 yards, 28 touchdowns and nine interceptions on 72.9 percent completion. Six players have at least 250 receiving yards on the season for the Ducks. Malik Benson leads the team with 696 receiving yards. Kenyon Sadiq has been a matchup problem at tight end with 531 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Freshman Dakorien Moore provides a spark as well with 32 catches for 469 yards and three touchdowns.
Four running backs have over 200 rushing yards for the Ducks. Noah Whittington is the lead back with 829 rushing yards and six touchdowns. Jordon Davison, Dierre Hill Jr. and Layden Limar all carry the ball a bit too with 667, 570 and 262 rushing yards, respectively.
Defensively, the Ducks allow 15.1 points per game, ranking sixth in the FBS. They give up 110.8 rushing yards (ranked 20th) and 156.6 passing yards (ranked fifth) per game. Bryce Boettcher has been great at pursuing ball carriers with 125 total tackles. Teitum Tuioti leads the team with 9.5 sacks. Dillon Thieneman is a transfer from Purdue who has made plenty of plays with five passes defended and two interceptions.
Indiana went undefeated to make their second-straight CFP. They defeated seven bowl-eligible teams this season: Old Dominion, Kennesaw State, Illinois, Iowa, Oregon, Penn State and Ohio State. Their undefeated record earned them the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye. They dominated Alabama in the Rose Bowl to advance.
The Hoosiers score 41.6 points per game, ranking third in the nation. They pass for 247.4 yards (ranked 48th) and rush for 220.7 yards (ranked 10th) per game.
Fernando Mendoza transferred in from Cal and had a great season for the Hoosiers, as he won the Heisman Trophy. He has passed for 3,172 yards, 36 touchdowns and six interceptions on 72.3 percent completion. Five players have at least 300 receiving yards on the season for the Hoosiers. Omar Cooper has been the leading receiver with 61 catches for 849 yards and 12 touchdowns. Elijah Sarratt missed some time, but still played well with 55 catches for 727 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Five running backs were able to rush for 200 yards on the season. Roman Hemby, a Maryland transfer, rushed for 1,007 yards and seven touchdowns. Kaelon Black has created some big plays, rushing for 898 yards and eight touchdowns.
Defensively, the Hoosiers allow 10.3 points per game, ranking second in the country. They give up 178.9 passing yards (ranked 18th) and 73.7 rushing yards (ranked second) per game. Rolijah Hardy leads the team with 93 total tackles and also has the team-high with eight sacks. Amare Ferrell has shown ball skills with six passes defended and four interceptions.
Indiana has been a juggernaut all season long. Their defense is underrated and can slow down Oregon again. The Hoosiers should be able to spread the ball out and stretch the field.
