2025 Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl Preview

Publish Date: December 17, 2025

The 2025 Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl features the 7-6 Miami (Ohio) Redhawks and the 8-4 Fresno State Bulldogs. Here is the 2025 Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl Preview.

Miami (Ohio) RedHawks

Miami won seven games to qualify for their fifth-straight bowl game. They defeated one bowl-eligible team this season: Western Michigan. They had two losses to teams that didn’t qualify for a bowl game: Rutgers and Wisconsin.

The RedHawks score 25.1 points per game, ranking 83rd in the country. They pass for 196.2 yards (ranked 99th) and rush for 152.6 yards (ranked 75th) per game.

Starting quarterback Dequan Finn left the program, which leaves Henry Hesson and Thomas Gotkowski as the remaining quarterbacks. Gotkowski would be the better option to start, but Hesson has still played a bit. Gotkowski has passed for 503 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions on 50 percent completion. Leading receiver Kam Perry is in the transfer portal, but two other receivers have over 300 receiving yards. Cole Weaver and Keith Reynolds have 599 and 348 receiving yards, respectively, this season.

Four players have at least 200 rushing yards on the season for the RedHawks. Jordan Brunson leads the team with 724 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Kenny Tracy and D’Shawntae James have chipped in with 272 and 262 rushing yards apiece, but Tracy is out for the year.

Defensively, the RedHawks allow 22 points per game, tying them for 43rd in the country. They concede 130.7 rushing yards (ranked 40th) and 198.9 passing yards (ranked 38th) per game. Eli Blakey has the team lead with 105 total tackles. Adam Trick leads the team with 8.5 sacks, but he is in the tranfer portal, so Jackson Kuwatch has the most sacks with five. Blakey also has made plays on the ball in the secondary with eight passes defended and two interceptions.

Fresno State Bulldogs

The Bulldogs won eight games to make their fifth-straight bowl game. They defeated three bowl-eligible teams this season: Georgia Southern, Hawai’i and Boise State. Their were two losses to teams that didn’t make bowl games: Kansas and Colorado State.

Fresno State scores 26.4 points per game, tying them for 77th in the nation. They pass for 180.4 yards (ranked 112th) and rush for 169.9 yards (tied 56th).

E.J. Warner was the quarterback for the Bulldogs this season. He has passed for 1,811 yards, 12 touchdowns and 11 interceptions on 69.4 percent completion. Four players have at least 200 receiving yards on the season. Josiah Freeman has been the standout of the bunch with 45 catches for 499 yards and six touchdowns.

Five running backs have over 200 rushing yards on the season for the Bulldogs. Rayshon Luke leads the team with 688 yards and six touchdowns. Bryson Donelson has been the other main contributor, as he has amassed 580 rushing yards and five touchdowns.

The Bulldogs’ defense gives up 20.08 points per game, tying them for 24th in the country. They allow 132.9 rushing yards (ranked 41st) and 160.6 passing yards (ranked ninth) per game. Jadon Pearson leads the team with 98 total tackles. Finn Claypool has the team-high with 6.5 sacks. Jakari Embry has made plays on the ball with nine passes defended and one interception.

Prediction

Miami doesn’t have the quarterback play to really take advantage of the Bulldogs. Fresno State should be able to keep the ball on the ground to win the game.

Fresno State Bulldogs 23 Miami (Ohio) RedHawks 14
