College Football 26 Release Date: When is CFB 26 coming out?

After the incredible success of CFB 25, College Football 26 is already getting appropriate levels of hype as fans start to wonder about its eventual release date. So, to hopefully help meter that excitement a bit, here is our best attempt to answer the looming question, “When will CFB 26 come out?”

College Football 26 release date

As of right now, we do not have a confirmed release date for EA Sports College Football 26, however, it seems very likely that this franchise will adopt a yearly release cycle similar to other sports games. If so, this would signal a release date around mid-July 2025.

CFB 25 was released on July 19, 2024, just about one month before Madden 25 came out (August 16). Staggering these release dates like this seems like it will be a reoccurring strategy for EA, who look to get the most hype out of both game’s release day. It is also worth noting that the last College Football video game prior to this, NCAA Football 14, came out on July 9, 2013.

So, it seems safe to bet that College Football 26 will be released in July 2025.
