Transfer Portal

The Transfer Portal got a major update. Things will be a lot more realistic for players moving, especially for four and five-star players. There will be anywhere between 2,000-3,500 players available each season for you to get.

Dynamic Dealbreaker

Dealbreakers also get some much needed love. They will change as players get better or even worse. Meaning that if you have a player that turns into a top tier player, things that they may have been fine with before, may not sit as well with them any more.

Playing Time is getting a major change as well. You will no longer be able to sit on top tier talent, they will want to change schools if they are not getting playing time.

Player Progression

While there are different changes in this section that they dicsuss, in terms of recruiting the biggest ones are that there are more Archetypes than before. There will be a total of 59 player archetypes.

Location Based Costs

The cost to visit certain players will scale based on where you are. This means that bringing in a player from Hawaii or across the United States will cost you more than ones you can bring in from the state your school is in.

Recruiting Battles

An all-new feature, Recruiting Battles will happen when multiple schools are in a showdown for a certain player. They did not dive into this as much but expect it to be quite the addition to the game

Team Needs

While it may not seem like much, Team needs are finally visable while on the Prospect List. No more having to go back and forth.

Final Thoughts

While it may not seem like much, these are some very big additions to the game. Recruiting will look the same but feel different. There is a good chance some balancing will be needed moving forward but overall, these changes will help the game to feel much more natural. No more taking a school instantly from a bottom tier program to a top tier one. Expect rebuilds to take many years instead of just two or three.
