According to his Instagram, North Carolina freshman Nassir Little has entered his name in the NBA Draft. He also says he has signed with an agent, meaning his college career is over.
Little is a projected lottery-pick by many scouting analysts. ESPN’s Mock Draft has little projected to be selected with the seventh pick by the Washington Wizards.
He is also the former MVP of the McDonald’s All-American Game, having averaged 9.8 PPG and 4.6 rebounds per game this season for the Tar Heels.
North Carolina was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament this past weekend when they fell to the Auburn Tigers. With Luke Maye, Cam Johnson, Nassir Little and most likely Coby White all leaving the school next season, North Carolina will rely heavily on underclassmen next season.
