NCAA Tournament to be Played Without Spectators

NCAA President Mark Emmert released a statement on Wednesday saying that the NCAA Tournament will be played without fans in attendance due to concerns with COVID-19, otherwise known as coronavirus.

Other sporting events have been canceled or will have limited attendance as well. The Ivy League canceled their conference tournament and even went as far as canceling their spring sports. Other conferences have decided to have their conference tournaments without fans.

Emmert did mention that they will monitor the situation as time goes on, but for now there will only be limited attendance at the NCAA Tournament.

More updates will be provided in the coming weeks.
