Gonzaga University has agreed to a deal to join the Pac-12. They will leave the WCC to join the new-look Pac-12. Brett McMurphy reported this in late September, while ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported it today.
Despite not having a football team, Gonzaga will receive a full revenue share from the conference. The Bulldogs will join Washington State, Oregon State, San Diego State, Colorado State, Boise State and Fresno State.
The Pac-12 will still need to add two more schools to be recognized as a conference for football. They can add one to be recognized as a conference for basketball.
