The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team has been banned from postseason play for the 2019-2020 season. This stems from violations that occurred within the Georgia Tech program under Josh Pastner.
The ruling likely won’t change expectations for the Yellow Jackets, who are not projected to make the NCAA tournament this season. What will hurt Georgia Tech is that the NCAA is taking away scholarships.

Kansas was notified of violations earlier this week. The Jayhawks have aspirations of winning a national championship this season, but based on the ruling against Georgia Tech, Kansas may not be eligible for the postseason either.
