Here is a weekend preview of some of the best games of the week in College Basketball. This includes matchups of Tennessee at Memphis, Gonzaga vs Texas Tech and Marquette at Xavier.

(18) Tennessee at Memphis

Tennessee

Tennessee will be looking to get a quality win over Memphis. It begins with the play of Kennedy Chandler being the catalyst for the Tennessee offense. Next, the consistent play of Olivier Nkamhoua will be important for Tennessee establishing their interior presence. Additionally, John Fulkerson’s versatility will be important on the offensive end. The additional guard play of Josiah Jordan-James and Santiago Vescovi will be key in their roles for Tennessee. The ability for Tennessee to defend on the wing against Memphis will be important throughout.

Memphis

Memphis was able to show life with a major win over Alabama and has a great opportunity against Tennessee. Now, the consistent play of DeAndre Williams is huge for Memphis on both ends of the floor. As well as, Jalen Duren emerging as a focal point in the paint for Memphis being more efficient. The consistent shooting and scoring of Landers Nolley will be a important aspect for Memphis. Furthermore, the ability for Memphis to get the offense going will be the key for them against Tennessee.

Gonzaga

Marquette at (22) Xavier

Marquette

This is a terrific opportunity for Marquette to continue to build a strong resume against Xavier. Also, Jamal Lewis will be the tone setter for Marquette on the interior. Additionally, the scoring ability of Greg Elliot off the bench is key for Marquette’s depth. Continued, Tyler Kolek’s shooting will be key for Marquette to get the offense going. Xavier

Xavier will look to keep it’s momentum going in the best season in the Travis Steele era. Now, the return of Zach Freemantle is crucial adding his versatility and scoring ability offensively. As well as, having Paul Sruggs who’s toughness and playmaking is vital for Xavier. Now, the scoring of Colby Jones is key for Xavier being the primary wing option. Along with, getting steady play from Jerome Hunter on the interior. The depth of Xavier is very important with having Adam Kunkel and Jack Nunge. Xavier’s consistency with lineups will allow Xavier to take the next step in their season.
