Next, the key for Tennessee will be slowing down Terrance Shannon Jr. throughout and needing Josiah Jordan-James to handle that matchup. Also, John Fulkerson will need to showcase his offensive ability inside and go against the Texas Tech front court. The shooting ability of Victor Bailey could be a key aspect for Tennessee offensively and the improvement of Santiago Vescovi.

First off, Syracuse has a massive opportunity against Villanova to come away with a marquee win. Now, if they are going to pull off the upset it begins with Buddy Boeheim’s scoring. Along with, Joe Girard and Cole Swider providing consistency on the offensive end. Also, Jesse Edwards will be vital inside with his ability to secure rebounds and get second chance opportunities. The depth of Syracuse is not strong and will need to rely on the zone to keep them out of foul trouble. Additionally, the zone of Syracuse will be vital to take Villanova out of their normal offensive flow.

Villanova will be looking to round into form as one of the best teams in college basketball. This begins with Collin Gillespie as the foundational piece to get the offense going against the Syracuse zone. Additionally, Justin Moore has showcased his improvement offensively and will need to do so against Syracuse. Furthermore, attacking the middle of the 2-3 Zone will be key and Jermaine Samuels will be tasked to operate there.
