Sueing has the ability to attack one on one with the ability to make threes and get to the basket quickly. His overall shot selection must improve, but he has really good athleticism with good skills. Next, his quick first step gives him the ability to get the basket effectively and create separation for his shot. He’s got the ability to be a three-level scorer and be a key piece on the Ohio State perimeter. The rebounding ability of Sueing will help as well. Defensively, he’s average he doesn’t move very quickly and his overall strength is not there. His length definitely will be a plus for the Ohio State defense. Chris Holtmann is getting a scoring wing to add to his perimeter.
Harvey is primarily looking for catch and shoot threes or the ability to take one dribble pull-ups. He has the athleticism to get to the basket but needs to be able to finish at a higher in the half-court and in transition. Furthermore, he has the ability to play 1v1 and brings good size to use to get his shots off and to the rim. Defensively, he brings good size and is pretty active off the basketball. His on-ball defense good is better with his lateral movement. Vanderbilt is getting a solid veteran that will add experience to Jerry Stackhouse’s team.
Daniels moves without the ball very well and plays with great control. He has the ability to make pull up mid-range jumpers and can make threes off the catch and bounce. Also, Daniels can drive to the basket very effectively finishing on either side. He pushes the ball in transition with the ability to attack or find shooters. He’s a solid rebounder as well and has underrated athleticism. The ball control he brings will fit right into the Villanova culture. He will add to a loaded Villanova perimeter adding another scorer. Defensively, he’s solid on the basketball and has pretty good size as a defender. He will be an average defender for Villanova. Caleb Daniels will be a very good addition to likely the best perimeter in college basketball next season for Villanova.
Cole has very good feel the game and will be apart of a dynamic backcourt with James Bouknight for UConn. He’s very solid in ball screen action to create separation for his shot and to split the defense and get to the basket. Also, he’s very good with the ball and has good craftiness to get difficult shots off from the perimeter. Cole effectively pushes the ball in transition and can get his teammates involved effectively. He’s an undersized guard who can struggle to the defender with his lack of attention throughout and size to defend the basketball. He will add a playmaking element to UConn next season.
Flagler will add another scorer for Baylor and Scott Drew. He can space the floor very well with his shooting ability and can create his own shot at the basket or in the mid-range. He will be very good in transition spacing the floor as a knockdown shooter. Also, he can also attack directly in transition as well. He’s not a great defender as he needs to be more engaged and be more active on and off the basketball. The perimeter of Jared Butler, Davion Mitchell and Adam Flagler will be very potent offensively.
Appleby has a scoring mentality he is very good in ball screen action getting to the basket and can finish well. In addition, he’s very athletic who can rebound and attack in transition immediately. Also, off the basketball, he is a very solid cutting who will get easy back cuts to the rim. He can be a knockdown shooter off the dribble and coming off screens. Appleby will be a very good addition to a team that struggled to score at times. Defensively, he brings really good activity and does a solid job of containing the basketball. He will be a solid addition next to Andrew Nembhard and Keyontae Johnson on defense. Mike White is getting a well rounded athletic scorer who will immediately help Florida.
Bailey Jr. will be a knockdown shooter for Tennessee with losing Lamonte Turner and Jordan Bowden in the backcourt. He can make plays off the dribble to get penetration for mid-range jumpers. He’s pretty athletic and can get out in transition and get to the basket and finish effectively. Furthermore, he can score the basketball effectively off the ball or in ball screen action. Defensively, he will give good energy and has solid length and size to guard multiple positions. Rick Barnes is going to have a key piece to his perimeter in Victor Bailey Jr.
Allen is a quick guard who looks to get to the lane for runners and short jumpers. Also, he can knock down open threes and looks to attack the basket in transition. His quickness allows him to get by defenders for pull up jumpers. He will be a good energy guy for NC State in a backcourt losing a lot. Next, defensively he’s very quick on the basketball and is a very solid perimeter defender. Kevin Keatts is getting a solid guard who will play with good energy.
Molson has very good size and will add to Seton Hall’s perimeter scoring without Myles Powell. He’s got the ability to pull up for mid-range jumpers effectively and can drive to the basket with force. Next, he will be an additional rebounder for Seton Hall. His three-point shooting will be really important to bounce back and allow him to be a more complete scorer. He can create on his own and can attack well in transition. Defensively, he’s an average defender who doesn’t move great laterally and containing the basketball. Takal Molson will help fill a void on the perimeter for Seton Hall with his scoring ability.
Honor really gets out in transition and can get to the rim effectively and set up his teammates, as well as having the ability to shoot the perimeter off the dribble very well. Next, the ability to break down defenders off the bounce is really good and will give Clemson a lead guard. He plays with very good control with the ability to get to his spot well. Honor will change the Clemson offense with his ability to push the pace and play with great energy. Defensively, he’s extremely active on the basketball and his lateral movement is very good. The activity he has on defense sets the tone with immediate ball pressure and active hands. Brad Brownell is getting a guard who will make a major impact on Clemson.
