2020 Under The Radar Impact Recruits

Mark Williams Duke

Williams will bring really good mobility and athleticism to the frontcourt for Duke next season. Furthermore, with that mobility he is capable of guarding multiple positions. His athleticism gives him the ability to evolve into an offensive threat in time. The size and versatility will be key for a Duke frontcourt losing all its returning players and he’ll be joining Patrick Tape the graduate transfer from Columbia, and recruits Jaeym Brakefield and Henry Coleman in Duke’s frontcourt.

Burnett could have a similar impact for Texas Tech that Ja’himus Ramsey had in his freshman season last season. Next, he can play with really good physicality and toughness with his ability and to get to the rim. Also, he got the ability to make shots from the perimeter. He’s really good off the ball and can be dynamic with the basketball too. Burnett will have a very big impact on the Texas Tech perimeter next to Davide Morretti, Kyler Edwards and Terrance Shannon.

Jabri Abdul-Rahim Virginia

Abdul-Rahim could have a vital impact on Virginia who will be contenting for a National Championship next season. Additionally, he’s a smart player who uses his body really well on both ends. He will bring a scoring element to the wing for Virginia next to Sam Hauser who could be the main reason why Virginia is back in the National Championship picture. Also, he brings the ability to score off the dribble with a really good feeling.

Andre Curbelo Illinois

Curbelo will be a guy who can lead can takeover the Illinois backcourt with great control. He plays the game with a high-level IQ and is a really good distributor. His passing ability could really be on display with giving opportunities to Trent Frazier and Kofi Cockburn consistently next season. He must continue to improve his strength and shooting but will have a major impact immediately making others. He will be the guy for Illinois for years to come as their lead guard consistently making others better.

Kerr Kriisa Arizona

Kriisa will bring consistency to the backcourt of Arizona who has a high level of skill to his game. Additionally, he can really shoot the basketball and will make shots consistently from the perimeter. Next, he’ll be very productive as a distributor getting others involved consistently making others better. His effort will be a big part of changing the style for Arizona and can lead them to make to be major factors in the PAC 12. Kriisa will be a long term guard for Arizona and have an immediate impact this season.
