Cash App Code Green $50k Warzone Tournament

Call of Duty: Warzone has just dropped and it is a top-class battle royale. While the Call of Duty League is currently figuring out the now online-only schedule the pros have been flocking to the new mode. The competitive side of Warzone is already heating up with some large cash prize tournaments. On March 19 the Cash App Code Green $50k Warzone tournament took place. The tournament included 44 teams of Call of Duty pros, battle royale pros and content creators. The rules were that each team would play public matches on both console and PC with cross-play enabled for 5 hours. During these 5 hours each team would report their top 5 highest elimination games. The teams all compete for most eliminations. The teams that place 1-10 receive cash prizes.

The Huntsmen

The Chicago Huntsmen had a great showing at the tournament and were out in force. The man himself Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez even played with the Old Men of [Redacted]. The teams follow:

The Warzone

Scump was absolutely frying with Cloakzy and his former teammate and 100 Thieves founder Nadeshot. The team was dropping 60+ kill games in the first two hours. Scump finished the tournament with the most eliminations at 118. Scump and company ultimately placed 3rd in the tournament and were neck and neck with 2nd place where it came down to their very last game. Arcitys played with aBezy and Priestahh from Atlanta FaZe. It was great to see players from these top tier teams out playing together as they placed 4th. The young prodigy Envoy placed 13th with Havok of the Florida Mutineers. FormaL and the Doc placed 32nd but had great time doing it as Doc is always putting on a show. H3CZ and the Old Men of [Redacted] placed 41st.

The Winners

The tournament was won by Ian “Crimsix” Porter and James “Clayster” Eubanks of the Dallas Empire along with Tyler “TeePee” Polchow. This team was playing out of their minds and put up some insane numbers. Their highest elimination game had a total of 72 kills, an amazing feat. They were a force of nature as they absolutely dominated the warzone. This was such an amazing tournament. The streams that came from this provided a great look into competitive Warzone.
