The Huntsmen in Atlanta: A Potentially Legendary Final

CDL Atlanta

The Atlanta Home Series

On February 22 the Chicago Huntsmen are heading to the Atlanta home series for the Call of Duty League. The Huntsmen are coming off their first tournament win in London and are dominating the CDL. Chicago are currently the best team in the league but they are heading to the home of a potential challenger. The Atlanta FaZe are also a top tier team and are looking to prove themselves in their homeland. This home series will be the first tournament-style games for FaZe and they could potentially go against Chicago. The Huntsmen will start off the weekend by facing the Toronto Ultra.

The first match for the Huntsmen will be the Toronto Ultra. The Ultra are currently at the lower end of the standings with a 1-3 record. Chicago have all of the tools necessary to take on Toronto and should be able to defeat them as long as they play smart and collected. The Huntsmen are a proven team on Hardpoint and Domination and now their Search and Destroy is looking absolutely top-notch. The Huntsmen just need to keep doing what they’ve been doing and they will surely take the win over the Ultra.

Match Prediction:  Huntsmen 3 – Ultra 0

Clash of Titans

The finals of this tournament could be a showdown of epic proportions. The Atlanta FaZe and Chicago Huntsmen have the potential to go against each other in what could possibly be the greatest match up in the Call of Duty League. Currently, both teams are considered to be the top two teams in the league and this could be their first-ever match. Though they are a young team the Atlanta FaZe have a solid roster with some absolute slayers. Chris “Simp” Lehr and Tyler “aBeZy” Pharris are on top of their game because even other pros consider these two to be the best at Modern Warfare. The Chicago Huntsmen have a stacked lineup of veteran talent with some serious experience and are built upon a solid foundation of leadership.

The Perfect Storm

With all of these factors adding together there is a perfect storm brewing and the forecast calls for some epic Call of Duty. The Atlanta home series has the potential to be a legendary tournament because of this match up. Atlanta and Chicago are both at the top of their class and now fans will be able to see who the best team in the Call of Duty League is.

It’s Party Time

The Atlanta home series will also have a massive amount of guests and talent. Chris Puckett will be returning to host the games. FaZe Clan will be coming out in force and attending the event. Richard “FaZe Banks” Bengtson will be in the crowd. Rappers Offset and Lil Yachty are also scheduled to attend. The Atlanta FaZe are owned by Atlanta Esports Ventures who also own the Atlanta Reign of the Overwatch League. The homestand for the Reign last year was one of the best spectacles of the entire season. Atlanta Esports Ventures are sure to put on an awesome show and will make this home series a monumental event.
