In a press release, the Call of Duty League announced its return with a brand new online Home Series Weekend broadcasted live on the CDL YouTube channel. Games will be played all weekend, from April 10-12 and teams will be hosting the online events. The first tournament will be hosted by the Dallas Empire.

With this announcement comes a brand new schedule as well. Here are the new dates and what teams will be hosting.
- Chicago Huntsmen April 24-26
- Florida Mutineers May 8-10
- Seattle Surge May 22-24
- Minnesota Rokkr June 5-7
- Paris Legion June 19-21
- New york Subliners July 10-12
- London Royal Ravens July 17-19
- Toronto Ultra July 24-26
All of these matches will be fully online from the production to the competitive games. Additionally, team-hosted Call of Duty Challengers events will be played online in conjunction with the team’s Home Series Weekend. They will have tournaments across NA, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Lastly, the League will produce “five dedicated two-day Challengers events for amateur players across all three regions.
This comes weeks after the Overwatch League has continued online. It seems as though the CDL has been working on getting production and the Home Series set up while the OWL has focused more on playing the games as each weekend is not tournament-based.
