OpTic Gaming LA have been involved in multiple rumors that they were going to be making a roster change before their March 7th home series. However, the team put those rumors to rest as Dashy and Slasher have switched roles. Dashy will now be a submachine gun slayer while Slasher will be an assault rifle slayer. Fans should be ecstatic with these changes as they fit the play style of the two young stars very well.
What do these changes mean?
These changes will put Dashy in a prime position to have the most engagements for the team and support his aggressive play style. Dashy has already shown he is one of the top players in the CDL right now and this change will only support that title. Simultaneously, Slasher is known as one of the best AR slayers in Call of Duty and he should be able to showcase this on the main stage. Slasher struggled to learn the movements for an SMG slayer throughout the past two events. His natural slower playstyle should work very well with his new role.
What to look for March 7th
Viewers will immediately notice the role switch at the LA home series. Dashy will have a chance to light up the kill feed all weekend. Slasher will be playing much slower and supporting the SMG slayers of the team as he is accustomed to doing. If viewers were skeptical of what this roster is capable of, this next event will prove that they are a force to be reckoned with.
