With the season coming in just a couple of days, the London Royal Ravens are looking to surprise many within the Call of Duty League. In that, the Royal Ravens steer towards the future with Byron “Nastie” Plumridge. Let’s take a look at the COD veteran from the UK in this edition of CDL Profiles: Make it Nastie.
Plumridge, now 22 years of age, started playing at a very early age due to his love for other FPS games as well. Later on, he started to get good at the game, good enough to compete. Which, in turn, led to where he is today.
Black Ops 4
Yes, it’s true, Nastie got his very first start in sanctioned competitive Call of Duty only three Call of Duty games ago in Black Ops 4. In this, he found his trio in himself, Rafi, and Grad. In his very first tournament, he even got a first-place finish.
After winning five tournaments early on in the game, he signed for Aerox Esports, in which he added two more wins to his total of seven. He later signed for Vortex Gaming, Legion Nation, and Fierce Esports.
In this time span, he most notably joined The Bhoys where he won his first second-tier major in winning the CWL Amateur Finals with his squad. Later he played for the Celtic Esports team and placed Top 32 at COD Champs. In Black Ops 4 alone, Nastie managed to earn nine tournament wins, including one of those being a Second-Tier major event.
Early on in this year, he got good placements, including another tournament win. With that, he later earned a spot at Trainhard Esports where he added two more tournament wins. He then decided to join Team WaR and Connect Four, where he added six more wins to his total.
For this season, he then decided to join his most successful team to date in Orgless. Teaming with players Harry, Gismo, and Vortex. This is where he added 14 tournament wins to his total. By far, his most successful season yet as he then went on to play for the Atlas Lions and win the Challengers European Finals.
Vanguard and Beyond
Immediately after the Cold War season, he then got noticed by the London Royal Ravens after playing well the previous season. With 34 tournament wins to his name and the gun skill to win any possible gunfight, could Nastie be the one needed in order to catapult London to new heights?
