On Friday, October 19th at 11 p.m. ET/PT, ELEAGUE’s Esports 101 will be featuring League of Legends in its premiere episode on TBS.
Co-hosted by League of Legends experts Bil “Jump” Carter and Kelsie “KayPea” Pelling, this will be the first in a series that aims to bring League and other esports to a new audience. It will appeal to all audiences by presenting League of Legends in a fun and accessible way to those less familiar with gaming and esports.
The show will cover everything from how the game works, to the international culture of esports, to the history of League of Legends. With the 2018 World Championships going on currently, this is a prime time for new viewers to get a taste of the game. With 12 teams competing from 6 different regions, this is the largest event of the year for League of Legends, and the 2017 finals brought in 57.6 Million unique viewers.
League of Legends has swept the gaming and esports community since it joined the scene, and with this assist from ELEAGUE, looks to expand to even more people.
