New Hidden Players Found in Backyard Baseball 2026?

While we know there are at least 40 playable characters in Backyard Baseball 2026, there have been hints of maybe more joining the ranks. After playing through a game, we noticed something that might be a giveaway to the other Hidden Players/Kids in Backyard Baseball 2026.

Hidden Players Backyard Baseball 2026

In case you have missed it, Backyard Lindsay and Backyard Cody have been streaming live every Thursday for some time now and they have been hinting at Hidden Players for Backyard Baseball 2026.

Along with that, the official post on Steam for the release of the game states “Assemble your squad from the original 30 Backyard kids (+ unlockables, some of which we haven’t revealed yet!).

At this point, we know three new characters from the Backyard Universe plus seven former Pro Baseball Players are in the game to get the roster up to 40 players. But what if there were more?

Amy Bostwick

If you are a longtime player of Backyard Sports games, you will notice some NPC neighborhood kids have shown up across a few different games.

Amy Bostwick is one of them. During one of our games for our Backyard Baseball 2026 Let’s Play, we noticed that similar to Marky Dubois, Amy Bostwick has her own sticker.

While this may not seem like a big deal, if you look below Marky, you will notice the other kids have the same sticker as a create a player or NPC.

This is just like it was in the older games and could mean that Amy Bostwick may be an unlockable character. There is a chance that this is just a nod to a classic character but it feels like it will just be a matter of time until more former characters such as Chico Papas, Star Moonbeam and even Joey MacAdoo are found as well and added to your roster.
