Out of all of the new characters that you need to unlock in Backyard Baseball 2026, Vinnie The Gooch is by the far the easiest.
Step 1: Play the Tutorial.
Step 2: Play as Vinnie The Gooch.
That is right, it is that easy.
Vinnie is not necessarily the best player out there but he is pretty fast and can be a solid relief pitcher. You can also play him at second base or if you absolutely have to, in the corner outfield spots. It is fun to see the longtime caster finally make his debut in a Backyard Baseball game. Instead of him slinging insults at you, he gets to make fun of himself.
