

Backyard Baseball is back and with it come some fun unlockable characters. One of the surprising additions to the game is none other than Sunny Day herself. Here is how you can Unlock Sunny Day in Backyard Baseball 2026.

Out of all of the new characters that you need to unlock in Backyard Baseball 2026, Sunny Day is somewhere in the middle.
Step 1: Play a game on the easiest mode (New Kid) while having the Swing Spot Assist on.
Step 2: Play a game on Park Dept Fields No. 2, Big City Stadium or Super Colossal Dome.
Step 3: Pick someone who a batting of at least 8 or higher. (Find All of the Backyard Baseball 2026 Player Stats Here)
Step 4: Hit a Homerun off one of the Jumbotrons one time.
Depending on how good of a hitter you are and have up at the plate, staying up the middle and hitting for power should be enough to see you hit one off one of the jumbotrons on any of the three stadiums mentioned.
Surprisingly, Sunny is one of the better players in the game. Her total stats are just above Pete Wheelers and she can realistically do just about anything. Stick her in the outfield somewhere to utilize her speed and solid arm.
In terms of batting, you can put her at the two, five, six or nine spots in the lineup and she will be useful. Depending on how bad the rest of your hitting is, she could comfortably drive in run at the three or four spot as well.
