Backyard Baseball is back, and with it come some fun unlockable characters. One of the secret additions to the game is a name you may remember from the many hits she had against you: Leah Wayne. Here is how you can unlock Leah Wayne in Backyard Baseball 2026.

Out of all of the new characters that you need to unlock in Backyard Baseball 2026, Leah Wayne is statistically one of the best overall players in the game at just about everything.
Step 1: Start up the game and go into League Mode.
Step 2: Pick the team you are best with and most comfortable. This includes the likes of Pablo Sanchez, Kiesha Phillips, Kenny Kawaguchi, Pete Wheeler and whoever else you enjoy playing as.
Step 3: Then you will have to pick the highest difficulty you have available to you.
3A: Playground Pro or 3-Star difficulty is the highest in the game to start. In order to get Backyard Legend or 4-Star difficulty, you have to win the Grand Championship of the Universe Tournament.
3B: After you win that tournament, you have to win the Grand Championship of the Universe Tournament on Backyard Legend or 4-Star difficulty to unlock the hidden Neighborhood Hero or 5-Star Difficulty.
Step 4: In order to do this quickly, just do 1 inning games and put your top three hitters at the top of your lineup.
Step 5: Once you have won the Super Entire Nation Tournament, the tournament before the Grand Championship of the Universe Tournament, on Neighborhood Hero or 5-Star Difficulty, you will unlock Leah Wayne.
Leah Wayne is easily one of the best players in the game. She crushes the ball and has similar stats to Pablo Sanchez with his 34/40 total stat points. The only difference is that Leah is not the best pitcher.
That does not matter, though as Leah can be your three or four hitter in your lineup to drive in some serious runs while also running the bases well.
