Backyard Baseball is back, and with it come some fun unlockable characters. One of the secret additions to the game is a name you may remember from the many hits he had against you: Julie Dunkel. Here is how you can unlock Julie Dunkel in Backyard Baseball 2026.

Out of all of the new characters that you need to unlock in Backyard Baseball 2026, Julie Dunkel is statistically one of the best overall players in the game at just about everything.
Step 1: Start up the game and go into any of the game modes other than Wiggle Ball. We suggest the Backyard Derby mode.
Step 2: Pick Tin Can Alley are your field.
Step 3: Pick a right handed homerun hitter that you are most comfortable with. Pablo Sanchez is an obvious choice but Kiesha Phillips or Achmed Khan will work too.
Step 4: Hit and break 10 windows while playing.
Step 5: Julie Dunkel will then be unlocked and playable.

Julie Dunkel is one of the easier characters that you can unlock, if you focus on completing the window-breaking task. There is also a good chance that you may get her naturally through playing any of the modes.
Julie is essentially Pete Wheeler but with a lot more power. This makes her one of the best players in the game. Her 27/40 overall stats rank her near the top and really the only thing she can’t do is pitch.
Otherwise, you can throw in at the top of your order and somewhere in the outfield. Julie will then dunk on everyone she plays.
