Backyard Baseball is back, and with it come some fun unlockable characters. One of the secret additions to the game is a name you may remember in passing: Amy Bostwick. Here is how you can unlock Amy Bostwick in Backyard Baseball 2026.

Out of all of the new characters that you need to unlock in Backyard Baseball 2026, Amy Bostwick is statistically the worst and is near the bottom in terms of players overall.
Step 1: You will need to play a few games most likely to get Amy. Truthfully, as long as you play at least 5, you should earn her naturally. These games should be at least six innings.
Step 2: Get 15 Tag-outs. This is when you get an out that is not a force out (automatic out by touching a base), strikeout, or flyout.

Amy will likely be the first secret player that you will unlock. You can get her in your first game if you play one that is at least six innings. Then you can manipulate it to allow runners to get on base and get tags outs as every out.
Or, you can just get her through playing for a bit.
Amy is statistically tied with Kimmy Eckman as the worst player in the game. She can hit a little bit, mostly singles through line-drives. Amy can also run a bit below average.
If you are trying to play the game on hard mode, Amy is able to hold her own at the plate but beyond that, she can sit at second base or catcher. Then you will just need to hope that she doesn’t get run on or have the ball hit her way too often.
