Its Full swing into the Backyard Sports season with the arrival of Backyard Baseball 2026. With the newest installment in the Backyard Sports franchise, not only do the original 30 Backyard Kids make their return, but there are an additional 15 characters that can be unlocked within the game’s league mode by completing certain challenges and more. So players don’t have to play the game aimlessly hoping to receive a new character; here’s how to unlock all characters in Backyard Baseball 2026.

How To Unlock All Characters In Backyard Baseball

1. Vinnie the Gooch – Finish the Advanced Tutorial
2. Jay Green – Earn 20 local multiplayer wins in the Backyard Derby game mode
3. Sunny Day – Hit the Jumbotron a single time
4. Vladimir Guerrero Sr. – Earn five unique 3-Star+ Cards
5. Amy Bostwick – Earn 15 tag-outs lifetime
6. Kenny Lofton – Steal five bases in a single game
7. Mr Clanky – In the Clubhouse, hold Shift and click on Mr Clanky lying on the floor
8. Chipper Jones – Cleanup hitter in your lineup (fourth slot) needs to bat a .364 average for an entire League season
9. Jason Giambi – Earn a total of 2,001 Lifetime Tokens
10. Sammy Sosa – Hit 66 total home runs in the Wiffle Ball game mode
11. Jeff Bagwell – Steal 202 bases lifetime
12. Mark McGwire – Hit 582 home runs lifetime
13. Chico Pappas – Win the Ultra Grand Championship on Tier 3 difficulty
14. Star Moonbeam – Win Ultra Grand Championship on Tier 5 difficulty at nighttime
15. Leah Wayne – Win Super Entire Nation Tournament on Tier 5 difficulty
