It is about that time, MLB The Show is coming out with its newest entry into the franchise for 2025. With it they have made some significant changes to a few areas that fans were begging for. The MLB the Show 25 Release Date will be on March 18, 2025. With that, you will be able to play MLB the Show 25 Early Access on March 14, 2025 if you purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition. More and more games are doing this to allow those who are intent on buying the game and want it a few days before others to do so. This will be just a few weeks before the season begins so we will know more about the rosters at this time which should allow fans to prepare to plan for what team they want to play as first. MLB the Show 25 will not be on Xbox Game Pass on Day One. There is a good chance that this game will be added in the future. MLB the Show 23 and 24 are on Game Pass already. But it looks like they felt the game would sell better for Xbox players if it were not on Game Pass. You should expect it to be added maybe even a few months later.
There are some major MLB the Show 25 Gameplay changes. For starters they are adding a true first-person mode to the game. This will make every play more exciting and may even be setting things up for VR in the future. Along with this, they are adding more dynamic basestealing where you can try to dodge the tag. Lastly they have made major changes to franchise and Road to the Show. In RTTS you start in high school and then make your way through college as well before even making it to Minor League Baseball. It will add even more realism and is a well-received addition to the game.
