The Philadelphia Eagles are sending center Cam Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick.
Jurgens, a two-time Pro Bowler in 2024 and 2025, has been a crucial part of the Eagles’ offensive line over the past few years and was the replacement for longtime Eagles center Jason Kelce.
Jurgens was part of the Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX victory, and with the news of his trade, Philadelphia has now lost two offensive line starters in Jurgens and longtime right tackle Lane Johnson, who retired Tuesday.
Baltimore had been desperately trying to solve a glaring issue at center after losing Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum in free agency. A slew of injuries also placed the Ravens’ top three veteran centers on injured reserve, forcing rookie first-round pick Vega Ioane to move from right guard to center.
Jurgens, 27, is under contract through the 2029 season and is a crucial addition to a Ravens interior offensive line hit hard by injuries. Jurgens is currently in concussion protocol and is expected to make his Ravens debut in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns.
