The New York Jets have decided to hire Aaron Glenn to be their next head coach according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Glenn was the defensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions since 2021. Before that he was an assistant for the Saints and the Browns. His coaching career followed his playing career. He played for the Jets, Texans, Cowboys, Jaguars and Saints.
In New York, Glenn takes over for the Jets, who went 5-12 last season. They have not made the playoffs since 2010.
