6: Miami @ New England- Dec. 12, 1982
This classic snow game between the Dolphins and Patriots is known as “The Snow Plow Game” and there was a lot of controversy in how it ended. The game went into the fourth quarter tied at zero. Scoring was at a premium and both teams were looking for a single score that would most likely give them a win. With approximately four minutes remaining, the Patriots drove down to the 16-yard line. On fourth down, they were prepared to kick a field goal. The snow plow came out and instead of plowing the 20-yard line, it plowed the 23-yard line where the holder was positioned. The snow had been cleared and the Patriots made the field goal to win the game 3-0.
