The Eagles just made a huge trade with the Minnesota Vikings to ship Sam Bradford out of Philly and won the trade by somehow getting a first round pick along with a conditional pick. The Eagles then named Carson Wentz the week one starter.
Having a rookie quarterback who didn’t play at the highest level of college football is going to cause a long, painful year for Eagles fans. The Eagles will struggle on offense due to Wentz’s lack of experience.
Defensively, the Eagles ranked 30th in yards allowed per game last season. They also ranked 28th in points given up per game with 26.9. The Eagles did not do much to improve their defense. This defense will still give up 25-30 points per game and their offense will not be able to keep up with that causing a last place finish for the Eagles.
