#1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
It is the prefect time for the Buccaneers to win the division. They are a team on the rise and the roster is pretty loaded. They have the best wide receiving group out of the four teams in the division. Second year quarterback Jameis Winston’s main options through the air are two 6’5″ wide receivers: Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson. Pair those two 6’5″ receivers with 6’5″ tight end Cameron Brate and 6’6″ Luke Stocker. This team should not settle for field goals in the red zone. The length at the wide receiver and tight end position is scary.
At the running back position, the Bucs have Doug Martin in the backfield with Winston. This offense will definitely light it up under former offense coordinator and new head coach Dirk Koetter.
On the defensive side, the Bucs will have one of the best front sevens in the league next year. They have Robert Ayers, Gerald McCoy, William Gholston, and Clinton McDonald starting on the defensive line. In the middle, they have Kwon Alexander, Daryl Smith, and Lavonte David at the linebacker positions. Many teams will not be able to run on this team. The secondary is good but has the potential to be really good as the secondary starts to build some chemistry together.
This year might be the start of the resurgence of the Buccaneers. To take the first step they must dethrone the Panthers and take the NFC South crown and I think they do it this year. I could see the Buccaneers finishing with nothing less than a 9-7, most likely a 10-6 season.
