2-Las Vegas
Sin City is the talk of the sports world at the moment as the Raiders are contemplating the move to Las Vegas. There is also talk of a NHL team going to Las Vegas within the next two years. Why not the NBA? Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world. The biggest boxing and UFC matches happen in Vegas. They provide people the opportunity to visit for a fight over a weekend while enjoying some amazing weather and gambling, a mini vacation so to speak. Professional sports could add to the boxing and UFC fights that take place in Sin City. All that is missing from the world famous city is pro sports. The 2007 NBA All Star game was also in Las Vegas, which was the first time in history that a city without a team, hosted the all star game. It was a big success and proved that the NBA could work in Las Vegas. Also, the new T-Mobile arena was built on the strip and could be the home to a new NBA team that seats 18,800. Las Vegas is one of the most deserving cities of an NBA team.
