The Game Haus Play Of The Week – 1/24/16

With the final round of playoffs for the NFC and the AFC, it was now or never for the final four teams. The New England Patriots vs. The Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers vs. The Arizona Cardinals, were the match-ups that fans have waited for since the beginning of the 2015 season. This was the last chance for all teams to prove that they deserved a spot in The Big Game.

With the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers clinching that final spot, this match-up will surely not fail to disappoint. But, we as fans must not forget what these teams and significant players on these teams have accomplished. This week, I commend Ted Ginn Jr’s phenomenal performance in the game against the Arizona Cardinals; for without him, the Carolina Panthers would have struggled to beat the Arizona Cardinals. With that being said, this week’s: The Game Haus’ Game of the Week belongs to Ted Ginn Jr’s 22-yard rushing touchdown from Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers after weaving across the field. Little did everyone know, that this play was just the start of what the Carolina Panthers could do against the Arizona Cardinals. This week’s pick was brought to my attention by Lauren Michael through Facebook.

Playoff games are crucial, as every scoring play is only earned by the successful communication between the quarterback and his teammates. These accomplishments are just reminders of who is more proficient on the field with the addition of that teams’ defense and kicking unit. Nevertheless, Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers have exceeded everyone’s expectations. In fact, if you were not aware of who this team was, you now realize that this is clearly the team to beat. Having Ted Ginn Jr.’s speed definitely did not hurt to have either, unless of course you were the Arizona Cardinals.

In case you missed it, below is a clip of this scoring play:

If you would like to talk about this amazing catch further, come meet me and others in the forum.

To nominate a play of the week, please post your entries on our Facebook and Twitter  Pages. Perhaps your selection will get chosen for next week’s “Play of the Week.”

Congrats to Lauren Michael for picking this week’s play of the week.
